Do the bridges add time to my move?
They add to the length of the day, not to what you pay. The figure is set from your two addresses before the truck leaves, so a slow crossing lands on us.
Where it does reach you is the shape of the booking. A move that finishes off the peninsula is worth flagging early, because the crew wants the first slot. Inside the Beaches the drive is short enough that your stairs matter more than any bridge.
Is Manly to Avalon one booking?
Yes, one truck and one crew for the whole thing. What changes is the vehicle, since we size it for the harder of your two addresses rather than the easier one.
A walk-up and a bush block ask for opposite things, so describe them separately. Give the flight count at one end and the pitch of the drive at the other. Two to three haulers cover a full home either way, sized from whichever end is worse.
We are north of Mona Vale. Any different?
Only in how long the crew spends on the road. The carry at your door is measured exactly as it is anywhere else on the peninsula.
The practical difference is that nobody is driving back out for a second load. Count the rooms honestly so the truck is big enough first time. Anything you change your mind about later can go as a small move of one to ten items, or its own junk booking.
Which end of the day suits a move here?
