Will the truck fit our basement dock?
It depends on the clearance, so we work backwards from your basement rather than the other way round. Where the pantech will not fit, a cargo van goes down instead.
Height is only half the story. A sharp turn at the base of the ramp, a speed hump, or a steep drop can each stop a long vehicle that would clear the doorway on height alone. Send the number on the clearance sign and one photo of the ramp, and the right truck is settled well before your date is locked in.
Who books the lift at our block?
You do, or your building manager does. Strata blocks take that request from a resident or an owner, not from a removalist ringing on your behalf.
