Sizing a small removal
Two things decide a small removal: how much there is, and how hard the vehicle is to reach. Answer both and the size of the job settles itself.
Keep it to one room or a short list and one vehicle sized to the load does the lot: a ute for a couple of pieces, or a 1 to 3 tonne van for a room of furniture. When one vehicle fits

How is a small removal priced?
There is no flat rate. The price follows what you are shifting, the access at each end, and the distance across the city. A short list on flat ground is quick; the same items up three flights, with a long carry to the kerb, costs more.
You list the items or the room, both addresses, and the flights or lift at each end. The quote comes back fixed, so the figure you agree at booking is the figure you pay on the day.
Small removal or full home move?
One room, or up to ten items, is a small removal, one vehicle sized to the load. Two rooms of furniture, or a whole flat, is a full home move with a truck and a crew.
Access can shift the line too. A single bedroom up four flights with no lift can take as long as a larger job on the ground, so the quote may suggest a bigger vehicle. Send the list and both addresses and we will call it.
Does access change the price?
Yes, more than most people expect. The load picks the vehicle, but the access picks the time. Stairs are carried by hand, a booked lift speeds a tower block, and a long walk from a metered kerb is walked twice on every trip.
We ask about both ends because the pickup and the drop-off each add time. Tell us the flights, whether a lift can be booked, and how far the vehicle can park from the door. All of it is built into the fixed quote.
Do you cover Sydney for small removals?
Business deliveries run across Sydney today, and residential small removals cover south Sydney, the Inner West, the airport precinct, Bondi and the Eastern Suburbs, plus St George and Bayside, with cover confirmed before you pay anything.
Send both addresses and a date and we will check the actual run rather than a postcode boundary. A vehicle is often working near the edge of that area already. We do not move pianos, pool tables or safes, and we offer no packing or storage.
