I am moving from a house into a flat. Is that one booking?
Yes, priced as one job with two sets of access. We ask about the driveway at one end and the flights or lift at the other, then size the crew for the harder end.
The driveway is shared. Can the truck still use it?
Only with the neighbours on side, and often it is simpler not to. We usually work from the kerb and leave the driveway open all day.
My block has a lift. Is that cheaper than stairs?
Faster more often than cheaper. A lift removes the flights but adds a corridor run and a wait, so we price the whole route rather than the floor number.
We are right on a main road. Where does the truck park?
At the nearest legal stopping point on a quieter approach, sometimes a side street with a longer carry. We measure that at the quote so nothing changes on the day.
