Walk-ups and the flights
Stairs are the biggest variable here. A third-floor walk-up with a turn on every landing is real work. Two haulers cover most flats, a third when the carry asks for it. Tall wardrobes usually come apart to clear the turn.
Permits and beach parking
Kerb space here is contested, and near Campbell Parade worse again. Ticket and resident-only bays rule out many obvious spots. Waverley Council handles a temporary permit or booked zone where one makes sense, so raise it when you quote.
Long carries and summer weekends
A long carry is normal here, so we only need the distance in advance. Weekend mornings through summer fill first. A weekday move is easier to schedule and easier on the parking. Our moving house checklist sets out the order.
